Grid Clearance/Net Meter Installation Certificate
- Certificate issued by DISCOM after installing the net meter.
Joint Inspection Report
- Report signed by both the applicant and DISCOM after the inspection.
Domestic Content Requirement Report
- Report ensuring that the components used meet the domestic content requirements as per the scheme.
Step-by-Step Application Process
- Registration on the Portal
- Visit the official PM Surya Ghar portal
- Select your state and your electricity distribution company (DISCOM)
- Enter your electricity consumer number, mobile number, and email address
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration
- Login
- Log in to the portal using your consumer number and mobile number
- Filling the Application Form
- Once logged in, access the application form for the rooftop solar system
- Provide details about your electricity consumption, roof size, and other relevant information
- Upload necessary documents, including proof of identity, address, electricity bill, and roof ownership certificate
- Feasibility Approval
- Submit the application and wait for feasibility approval from your DISCOM

- Net Meter Application

- The DISCOM will inspect the installation and install the net meter
- Once the inspection is complete, a commissioning certificate will be generated on the portal
- Subsidy Disbursement
- After obtaining the commissioning report, submit your bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal
- The subsidy amount will be credited to your bank account within 30 days
